If you skip pork, the menu at Under Construction Hot Dogs gives you real choices. Five items are listed as all beef. Three others do not name their meat, so we cannot call them pork-free. This guide shows which is which and what to ask before you order.
Hot dogs with no pork on our menu
The Hot Dog, Chili Dog, Chicago Dog, Jumbo Dog and Ditka Dog are all listed as all beef on our menu. If you want a hot dog with no pork, start with these five. The three items on the next section do not list a meat, so we leave them off this list.
| Menu item | What the menu says about the meat | Price* |
| Hot Dog | All-beef Vienna hot dog, with mustard and ketchup | $6.50 |
| Chicago Dog | All beef Vienna hot dog, with mustard, relish, onion, tomato, pickle, sport peppers and celery salt | $6.50 |
| Chili Dog | Vienna all-beef hot dog, with chili, shredded cheddar and diced onions | $7.00 |
| Jumbo Dog | Quarter pound hot dog, 100% all beef | $7.50 |
| Ditka Dog | Third pound hot dog, 100% all beef, availability varies | $8.50 |
*Prices as listed on the menu on October 26, 2026. The menu is the final word on prices and availability.

Brats and the Spicy Link
The menu lists a Brat, a Cheddar Brat and a Spicy Link without naming the meat. It says we serve Vienna Beef sausages, but that line does not say what is inside each one. Until the owner confirms it, we cannot say these three have no pork.
The brand name alone does not settle it. Vienna Beef sells a skinless, hickory-smoked beef bratwurst, and it also sells a Usinger bratwurst made with pork and veal in a natural casing. Our menu does not say which one we use, so we are not guessing.

For more on the brats, see our guide to the best bratwurst in Pueblo.
What all beef does not cover
All beef describes the meat in the hot dog itself. It does not describe the toppings, the casing or how the food is cooked. The Chili Dog has chili on it, and the menu does not list what is in the chili. If you avoid pork strictly, ask about the toppings first.
Casings are another detail. Vienna Beef says its natural casing hot dogs use hog or sheep casings. Our menu does not say whether our dogs are natural casing or skinless. If a hog casing would matter to you, ask before you order.
Cooking is the last one. The menu does not say how the grill is shared, so if cross-contact is a concern, ask at the window.
Ask at the window on Highway 50
Tell us at the window that you avoid pork, and ask about the toppings and the casing. You will find us at 1225 W U.S. Hwy 50 in Pueblo, out front at Lowe’s. The stand is open daily from 10 am to 3 pm and closed on Thursdays.
If you want something with more heat, our guide to spicy sausage in Pueblo covers the Spicy Link. Ask about its meat first, because the menu does not name it.
